My next Bible Stick will be the story of Queen Esther, the Queen of Persia. I am starting work on this stick, October 2022.
What a fascinating story we find in the Book of Esther, it is filled with a lot of plot twists and turns. I would recommend it for everyone to read. It is just a short story found in the Old Testament, describing how God’s hand was involved in saving the Jewish Nation.
Trying to demonstrate a Bible story filled with twists and turns, I decided to create this Bible Stick with parts of the stick that twists and turns, also. I am starting out with three dowels. The lighter color wood is oak and the darker color wood is walnut. A small oak dowel will go through the center of the entire stick, holding the pieces together. The walnut sections will tell the story, and they will twist in place. The oak sections will accent the entire stick. I am ready to get started on this next piece.
